Initial installation i did over a week ago worked now i have to download a 65 meg file to run the game which i already downloaded and unpacked. If you can't find a solution to your issue, feel free to contact a Support Representative directly for further assistance. Here is the fix that finally worked for Graev: Fix #1 Go to Control Panel Properties Change it from ‘Disabled’ to ‘Automatic’ Run your Diablo 3 setup as administrator and it should quickly go through Updating Setup Files and bring you to an install screen. After a reasonable hiatus from Blizzard games, I have decided to reinstall Diablo 3.Some report that it took few kills before it started to work, but as these issues with Mo P/D3 seem to be based on some black magic, nobody knows..For a brand new game on the market we started off on the wrong foot.
Try turning on your secondary logon path.- Go to start- Control panel- Administrative tools- Services- Scroll down and find the secondary logon service.- Right click on it and go to properties- In the area marked "Startup Type" change that to "automatic"This is required now for WOW to install updates.
After leaving the installer for ~30 minutes, it finally brings up an error stating it could not run the Blizzard agent; This gives me an error code - BLZPTS00007 - which gives me a few more google hits including a seemingly official guide on how to troubleshoot agent issues on Battle.net, however performing the steps listed under 'Advanced Troubleshooting' still hasn't resolved my problem.
How can I get past "Updating setup files..." when reinstalling Diablo 3, and what is error BLZPTS0007?
Mine was just looping and looping and was fixed instantly.
tried all 3, still stuck I hate blizzard, ever since they installed their stupid "updating setup files.." on beta and now d3, i can't download anything and it keeps stucking it self at 90%...
